Had a customer 3 months behind in payments. His income is right around 74K A MONTH! Last week I talked to his wife and got the "the check is in the mail" routine. This week, no check. Called and told him I wouldn't be servicing his property today because of no payment. Phone rang 3 minutes later...."please do my yard today, I'll havea check in the envelope on the front door. Whew, he was into me for $1800 bucks, thought I might get stiffed.

was that just lawn care? or did you do some extras?

i go 2 months tops. its common with some customers to pay 2 at a time. aftet that, you should sense the Red Flag in your head.
