I am looking to create an visual feature by feeding some water through a patio at ground level from one small rectangular pond to another on the other side of a patio. I want to use metal (i was thinking copper) to contain the water. it will flow from a weir into the copper (pan/channel), down the slight grade, and drop off into the second small containing pond. My question is two part. Is the copper going to leech anything into the water that would kill the fish in the pond, and the other question would be are there any other types of metal I could use?

    Thanks - River Walk Landscaping
