Fixed Deck

    How hard is it to change a fixed deck if it can be done at all...

    You have to take off the blade and then add or remove spacers.

    If you are talking about changing the cutting height it depends on the mower. With Exmarks you just pull a pin and switch spacers. The whole operation takes under a minute and requires no tools.

    with the fixed deck there are usually two areas to change the height. First, the front castor wheels have spacers and the second is the blade spacer area.

    Change deck from what to what, and what brand?

    ahh...I see. Good to point that out Rustic. He wants to change the fixed to a floating?
