Is the floating deck on a Turf Tracer worth the extra money over a fixed deck? Is the quality of cut that much better on the floater?

I just bought a 36tthp to replace my pos dual pullied viking and I would never go back. Your deck is always pitched right and the blades are always at the bottom of the deck. If cut and convience is important to you it is definilty worth it in my opinion. Also Hydo ECS completes the package. I bought this machine twenty years to late.

I have been using belt drive walk behinds since I started. I ventured out and bought a 48" Lazer / Hp last spring. I am now regretting it and am looking at a 52" Hydro instead. The walk behinds are more efficient and the cut looks way better on the type of accounts that I service. Not to mention they are less harmful to the turf.
