I've got a new client who had some construction done at her home, and as a result has lots of ruts and holes in her lawn that she wants me to fix. I've never done a repair like this. My first thought was to till it, relevel it, and then reseed. Any thoughts as to how best to accomplish this? The total area we're talking about is about 2200 square feet.

    Thanks!

Wet the lawn down for 24 hours and roll out the ruts.

You can't be serious, it's that simple? Put out a sprinkler for a day, then roll it out? Do I need to aerate first? Or what?

No, just wet it really well and roll it out. I have done it many times.
