Do any of you guys have amber flashing safety warning lights on your mowers?

Thinking of putting one on the Roll Bar, underneath maybe so it won't get hit by branches, I need one for govn. work.

Any dramas hooking these up to EFI engines?

Be great to see pics. of lights installed on your mowers and other safety gear please?

I have a flashing light. You need to get the 'flex' type. If you get a solid mount type the bulbs have a very short life. Mine is the type that plugs in so you can take it off when not needed.

    Thanks James!

Don't spose you have a pic of it installed?

    What is Flex type?

Plug in sounds good, never thought of that....

Not even sure what I need, can't find any in shops....dunno where to get them even, or whether EFI installation is a drama...

    Thanks mate!

Flex type can be bumped & will just roll out of the way
Hope pic explains what I mean.
At the bottom of the light you can see the clamping bolt to hold it to the power plug.
    Happy mowing

OK, Thanks James, another great idea!

I tried the auto shops today and only found rotating styles which is too big for my use, there is a new safety shop just opened, I'll try there tomorrow. Thanks again!

Thanks Mike, wow, got some choices now!
Some of these have ultra low amp draw and bright flash, clever stuff!

    Thanks again!

Try RIM Industries. I found them on the web. We use lights ans strobes on our tractors. Fixing to put them on one or two mowers also. We do city work here. You know the routine; lights, cones, safety vests, blah blah blah ...
Go with the LED's if you can. They pull way less current and their working life is much longer than strobes or halogen. I bought some of the small LED's and will put them on soon. I also bought the deck lights and visor light for my truck. Believe me, YOU WANT TO BE SEEN WHEN YOU'RE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND IDIOTS ARE PASSING YOU DOING 50+ MPH.
    Good luck
