Flex-Deck are you out there?

    Aerator modification.
    Flex-Deck you stated on an old post that you modified a 3-pt aerator to enable you to turn with it in the ground. Could you explain how?

    I don't know what kind you have but if it's a one piece axle maybe you can cut it so they turn separately. On mine all the wheels turn separately so turning is no problem.

    What if you redid the hitch so the hitch articulated?

    Yes some sort of 3pt. hitch modification is in order. Alot of aerators have disks that rotate in pairs or individualy so they can spin at different speeds as they turn. But the problem with a 3pt. is the sideways force that exists when you turn when the tines are in the ground. There needs to be a pivot in the 3pt hitch. I was thinking about pulling it with a draw bar and attaching the 2 lift arms with chains somehow. Any ideas out there?
