I have a decent sized maintainance company and we are thinking of getting into commercial installs can you please tell me if I need a special license to do so? Are there any other requirements?

I know where I live there is not much to it. I have to have a license to perform the work inside the city limits. Also you might want to talk to your city zoning office to see if there are set backs for plant beds. I know that we are suppose to keep plant beds 15' feet off the property line within the city (not strictly enforced though). Hope this helps!

Ripper over here in the Tampa area we don't have to have a special license. You do usually have to be bonded though which can add a considerable expense depending on how much the project is.
