    Needs some help.

This is my first year in the biz and I am going to be planting some annuals and perennials which would include flowers.

How do you all price these out? Do you take the square ft of the mulch bed to figure out how many flowers you'll need? How much do you mark up the materials?

As to the question about how many plants are needed in a given area, I kind of eyeball the area and estimate how many plants it will need. It also depends on how the customer wants them spaced.

As for markup on plants, I do 2 1/2 times the price and add labor to install them...

talk to the guys at the greenhouse about the spacing. different plants need different spaces to survive

i agree..... i charge 2.5-3 times, but that's with Warranty for 1 year.
