flower pricing

    how do you guys charge for planting flowers? I have a commercial property that wants flowers installed and probably watered one a week during the really hot dry months. They have water on site so that isn't a problem. I was told somewhere that they charge $1.20 per marigold to plant and water during the dry months of summer. Does this sound anywhere close to being right. :confused:

    price and install by the flat, quote w/ compost, amendments and monthly fertilization schedule. a typical rate as outlined is 55 to 65 per flat, depending on what type of annual your using. with regards... devildog

    I guess it depends a lot on both size and cost of materials. You weren't specific as to wether you were referring to 4" annuals, or the smaller materials that hold 32-48 plants/flat. Also, remember that prices for NewGunea Impatients, Geraniums and other specialties run a bit higher.

    We price watering separately---based on time spent. It's like a service call--takes time to deploy, get paid for it.
