I am going to have some of my employees pass out some flyers for fall landscape installation work. My question is, that I was thinking of paying them just straight commission for the jobs that they land. Does say 10% of the final profit of a job sound fair to pay them. If not what would you do in this situation, pay by the hour? Thanks in advance.

I'd say if they are already your employees anyways, just keep them by the hour. Maybe offer a bonus of $50 or something for every job they land. I'd imagine this would give them some incentive to pass more out, and would still work out cheaper for you.
