what kind of idiot buys that junk at an auction anyway, unless he got it for like $5 . You might get that much if you sell it as scrap metal to a yard.
That is here in Raleigh--wonder where it is. Maybe I should PM the seller on Ebay and find out where he is and go check it out, but it sure isn't worth $2000.
I'd give $350 for that at most.
Funny how auctions work. I bought a Crapsman blower at auction for $9 because they couldn't crank it. Turned out it had no gas in it. I put fresh gas in, it fired right up, I used it for 6 weeks and turned around and sold it for $20.
There was a very old Echo back pack there at the same sale that was a basketcase (missing covers and the carburetor), and it went for $32. I would have only given $10 for it at most.
