    Dave and others,
What is the formula for hanging mini lights in trees. Width x height =

Or do you just keep hanging till it looks right?

I am feeling like there is a majic formula so we can tell what we need just from circumfrence and so forth.

    Thanks,
    Kelly

    I use ft2 x .25 = number of mini strands.
I wrap all branches ( or most anyway)
but I usually add a few for fudge factor.

It depends on the customer, most of mine like it wrapped really tight, others don't. I have some that put 60 strands on a small fig and some that put 4 strands just on the trunk of an oak. I usually estimate 8-10 on a medium sized tree.
