Freaking Beavers!!

    Ok, so this is the irrigation side, but the ls folks are no fun. I was doing some HOA work today and the pres and property mgmt company was telling me about the beaver damage to crape myrtles and how they have "destroyed them".

    I didn't believe them until I saw it with my own eyes, I even saw the dam with all of the crape branches, its pretty impressive. But take a look. Theyve been spotted at night moving the cut branches.

    GO BEAVERS! They create spawning beds for fish. I'd rather have beavers to watch work than crape myrtles any day.

    it looks like a medieval weapon to keep intruders out of something... or those pikes they stuck heads on...

    By the way, and this is serious talkin' - if any of this beaver-dammed water is used for drinking, be aware of the possibility of giardia.
