Are any of you fellow LCO's using front mount mowers? I've been thinking about how versital they were in the 90's. We had a JD F935, great machine! If you are using them, what manurfacturers are you using and why?:hammerhead:

I've got 3 Steiner 230 Kubota diesels with 72" decks and love them. They take a little more trailer space, but Steiners cut is absolutely second to none.............Lynn

    The JD 1445's Were Bullet Proof.:weightlifter: Their New 1400 & 1500 Series
II Front Mounts Also Have Been Really Dependable Overall. The Diesel Z Market Has Cut Into The Front Mount Market,But The Big Municipalities Still Tend To Purchase Them.At Least In My Area.:usflag:

I would agree with the above statement. The Ztraks have cut into that market because of there size. But for large area's nothing will beat a JD 1445 with a 72" deck.
