Im looking at buying a Frontier brand pto driven chipper. Its the 1105 model and can handle up to 5inch branches.

The JD dealer will sell it for $4850.

They don't have any in stock so Im going on pictures and the info from they website.

    Anyone use these?

Try asking this question in the tree service forum, O.K?

Ive looked at it before, no experience using this model though... doesnt look bad. Im pretty sure bearcat or one of those brands like miller or someone make it for them? It looks nice. I've decided whenever we do get a unit like that, its going to be the larger model with all hydraulic feed... dont need to work like hell pushing branches and crap into a $5000 machine thats fighting me the whole time :p
