I have a Great Dane 48" walk-behind to sell. It is built like a tank. It has a 15HP Kawasaki twin-cylinder engine, which runs excellent. I have been using Rotella SAE-30 oil in it. The hydros are very strong, and are equally powerful. The previous owner sped it up, so it now goes about 8 MPH full speed (VERY fast for a walk-behind). I have replaced the hydro belt, engine-to-deck belt, idler pulley, and spark plugs. I repainted it as it needed it fairly badly. It is a pull start with key. Electric PTO engagement. It has pistol grips, which are very precise. It has a turf striper installed, and makes a very beautiful striped cut. The tires are fairly bald, especially the right one, but are inexpensive to replace. The front tires are flat, and don't seem to inflate, but I have always used it this condition. Included will be an air pre-cleaner, oil filter, and 3 deck belts. In case you are wondering, it does not have a sulky included. I don't have pictures right now, but will post them soon. I am asking $1250. Located near Peoria, IL. I would trade for a Great Dane Super Surfer, John Deere 647 or 657, Wright Stander, or a Walker mower. Let me know what you have.

Anyone interested? Is my price too high or what? I would really like to see it sold, as I have people waiting on it's sale so I can buy their mower. Make an offer. It is sooo much easier and more pleasant to use than a belt drive.

Hmmm. Anybody going to respond? I have had it for sale for two months with only one response. Anybody have any idea why? If I replaced the tires would someone buy it? It is a very high quality mower, and it was designed by SCAG, which is about the most solid, heavy-duty mower made. It is manufactured by John Deere to Scag specifications. ANY response would be greatly appreciated. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Still waiting for my first reply... I would also trade for a Scag hydro walk-behind.
