Sorry, for those not registered at plowsite.
I have a 96 Dodge Ram 2500 V10 4x4 Automatic with about 78k miles, we would like to sell in order to get stake body.
Truck is in good condition although it has some age. Engine runs strong, has new brake lines, transmission lines, brakes and battery. Exterior condition is good, some minor scratches. The tailgate has a dent from backing into the crank handle on one of our trailers.
Interior is in fair to good condition. We put new carpet in it 2 yrs ago. The drivers seat has a tear from getting in and out, and the headliner is starting to sag. Some TLC and this can be fixed.
Truck has a western 7-6" plow with wings which is in excellent condition and guaranteed to run without problems.
We would like $5000 for the truck and plow. (will even throw in a buyers tailgate spreader)
Will take $2500 for truck only.
Heres a few pictures I found. (the meyers plow has been replaced with a western, and no we do not have the meyers plow any more)
Truck is strong and ready to work.
How much rust?Last is there any known problems that need to be addressed? Thanks
I would say given the age the amount of rust is comenserate. We have only had it for three years, and have probably only put 3k miles a year on it. It was a 3rd vehicle to us, used primarily for hauling pallets of materials, or taking waste to the landfill.
The only problem are those I mentioned. We had the brake lines completely replaced becuase one of the flxible hoses at the caliper was cracked. And while removing it the hard line then became cracked. So we took it in and had all the lines replaced.
I cant guarantee though that something is'nt going to go wrong eventually. It is 10 years old. Bus as it is now, and as I am aware only cosmetic repairs may be needed.
Could you give me a call in regards to the truck please:
