Lost track of my original FS thread, so here goes this one. Had hoped things would work out to keep it, but my visit with an orthopedic surgeon last week pretty much killed any hopes of keeping this thing going. My former business partner has the accounts and the rest of the equipment, this is the last of the things that needs a new home.

Mower is a '10 model, bought 5 months ago and used on a few accounts until the end of the season. Currently has 8.6 hours on the meter. I did some light clean-up on it a few weeks back, and it looks basically as-new since it spent most of the winter in the attached garage at my folks' place.

I'm still looking into options to deal with Scag's wonderful "You want to...transfer? Your warranty? Ahhahahahahahaha! You funny guy! Haahahahahaha! Wait, please put it down, I'm sorry please don't hurt me" warranty.:hammerhead: The selling dealer here in Charlotte has offered to honor any claims made on it. As far as buyers out of the area, I'm not sure if the sale could be run through the original dealer at some nominal expense to preserve the 18 months of warranty it still has. I'll find out next week for sure.

Warranty or not I've tried to price it aggressively. Considering tax I expect it's at least $1000 cheaper than what these mower were selling for on fleet pricing last month. Fleet pricing is gone, but there are good deals still around. I'd like to think this mower qualifies. Consider the asking price fairly firm for now, my plan to take $100 off of the price every week until I find a buyer. In the meantime it's business as usual. It sits in the garage, I go by once a week, fire it up, let it get warm, and take it for a short spin down the street to frighten various domestic animals and small children. I expect the V-Ride is getting pretty frustrated since it hasn't been doing much of what it was designed to do (and do well) lately.

I'm more than happy to make any sale conditioned on it passing a PPI at a local dealer, since if I was buying a mower this new I'd do the same thing. Then again I expect most folks here can tell in 2 minutes if a mower is what someone says it is. Those folks won't be disappointed.

Mower is in South Charlotte, NC, in the Ballantyne Area, less than 10 minutes from the Outer Belt. I have a few delivery day pics, and the mower pretty much looks the same now. I will snap a few more the next time I'm over to wake it up, which could be tomorrow but will more likely be next week if this rain keeps up.

Send me a PM if you have questions, or just give me a call 704 995 seven 8 8 six.

    Thx folks.

Few Pics from earlier today. Sorry they're pretty marginal, it was really overcast and photography isn't my best talent.

Thanks Fellas, I appreciate the kind words. Also wanted to point out that the operator pad is flipped in these pictures. I set it up that way, to me it's more comfortable at my height (6'3"). Takes 2 minutes and a hex driver to turn it back IIRC.

Also my reading comprehension and/or memory appears to be fading in my advanced age. The mower has 8.3 hours on it, not 8.6 :)
