Fungis

    Anybody in the North jersey area start to see alot of Fungis popping up this week with all the rain and humid weather?

    Cornmeal will take care of it.

    Please explain. How do I apply it.

    This is what I have seen on alot of lawns in the area.

    10-20 lbs per 1000 sf. Use a broadcast spreader. Do this after you spray wth cormeal tea. Here's the recipe. 1-2 cups of cornmeal per gallon. You can get it at a local feed store for farmers. Let it sit 24 hours after briefly mxing. It will get a sweet yeasty smell. Then spray you lawn. Spray it good. It will kill the fungi harming the lawn. It is also a weak fertilizer. If you don't have cornmeal use milk. 3 ounces per gallon. It works the same.
