Anyone ever seen a yellow fungus growing out of treated mulch? What causes it? How do I stop it from spreading or kill it?

It's slime mold, sometimes referred to as "dog vomit", and it's harmless, not much you can do to prevent it. It will run it's course fairly quickly, drying out and turning brown, eventually appearing as a white powdery substance/mass.

Use a fungicide to control it. It will kill it quickly

Thank you for the reply! I have been keeping my eyes on it for past couple of days, i can almost see it spreading. It seems to spread fast.
