We estimate around 2-3 weeks. We will have 2-3 laborers working. Just depends on what the insurance decides to do.

  2. Hi, I'm a manufacturer of gabion. If you want to know price, the Mesh, Mesh Wire, Gabion Size & Quantity should be advised. There's one normal size as Mesh 8x10cm, Mesh Wire 2.7mm, Size 2x1x1m.

Calculate how many units of 2x1x1m or other sizes so that we can pricing.

This is a old thread but thought I add my input. We did a flood renovation projects for a state park and did thousands of feet of this along a well known trout stream. Its super labor intensive. We used underground pipelayers that had getup. We didn't have any "hand-placement" because we had guys standing to the side of the baskets with bent potatoe forks leveling the rock as the rock comes in. Its not literally hand placement. I'd talk to the rock suppliers months in advance to because ts not just breaker run but special size variance from 6" to 3". You'll either have to pre assemble baskets haul them in or do it at the jobsite. There not really that difficult if you get two people in a system.

The last two job we tried to bring in large retaining wall companies and pay landscraper rate but include are operator/foreman. It didn't work was a cluster. Simple things like buying the right hogring gun will make or break the operation. A industrial 20lb gun might be great for a floor operation but terrible to crawl in and out of large baskets with. I can't imagine doing it with a mini either you need reach.
