I did a search and came up with a few but not much info. We received a call from a commercial contract customer for a small garden railway in their court yard. I do collect O gage trains and have a hand laid layout in my basement. But I never did anything like this. About 300' of track in a nice landscaped bed. I did some research today and learned alot about track base and % grading. I wanted to know if any other here have done anything like this before? Customer wants us to buy everything and install. So far running the numbers on landscape and train material is very costly $$$. They want the theme to be in the mid 50's in Pennsylvania RR. All battery powered trains and some working bldg. lights, 5 switches. 3 hour + going over the area and talking with the facility supervisor on layout and changes to the bed. I asked where the idea came from and why the rush? He said the CEO saw it at another facility they visited and would like to add it to their court yard.
