Gas Clause

    I was looking over my service agreement and was woundering if i should put a gas clause in it.Does anyone have one of these types of clauses in there agrements and if so how exactly did you go about wording it.Thanks in advance

    This is my 3rd year with one only had to use it one month.In the last 2 weeks gas is up 32 cents now at 2.61.

    If you start charging for every nickel and dime change in the price of gas you will probably lose more customers than what you make up in a $2 fee. People hate that stuff.

    Same way here. We can't get away with doing something like that.

    I AGREE, YOU JUST NEED TO CHARGE MORE FOR MOWING. HARD TO RAISE AN OLD CUSTOMERS RATE, BUT CHARGE NEW CUSTOMERS MORE.

    Just charge more.
    Give yourself a raise.
    You should be going up every year, at least keep up with inflation.
    Lawn service is not meant to be somthing that everybody can afford.

    Actually it's the opposite...it's EASY to raise rates on existing customers...they like your work and expect prices to go up. I have raised my customers numerous times with very few cancellations as a direct result. New customers are often looking for a deal to go with your service.
