gator blades!!!

    just installed gator blades on my scag any feed back on them

    Work great for me when the grass is dry or during leaf season. When the grass growing fast they dont seem to cut as well.

    yeah they don't cut very well in thick grass i heard it was because of air flow or something like that

    its all I use and keep them razor sharp !!!! no problems w/ cutting wet/ thick
    ya just gotta slow down a little, great for leaves !!!!

    I agree.

    All my mowers have them on this year.

    Make sure they are sharp!!!

    Anyone use gator blades without a mulching kit? I usually side discharge and was thinking the gator blades would still mulch a lil more than stock blades before the clippings get discharged...

    dosent use the mulch kits for my mowers except on the 21" mowers to much trouble to take off and on the bigger mowers

    I do.

    They disperse the clippings not as far as standard blades will and smaller.
