Ok, So I welded up a mounting frame for my Gator Rator to attach to my 32" Great Dane Walkbehind.

Temporarily wired up the controls and tested away.

I could pull only small plugs at this time, the ground is rock hard here. I want to try it when the ground is softer.

Turning is a bit of work but not that bad.

    My questions are:

Has anyone else tried to do something like this?

Do you think I am overloading my machine?

I am surpised that the scamper was even able to push it. Guess that machines has more guts that people say it does. I wouldn't try to run it to hard. You might break it. Or you could just get lucky and not.

I will try, the last few pictures I posted were from a digital camera I borrowed.

I placed the Up and Down control on the controls, right beside the "P" in "CHAMP"

I bet that was fun with the handels that low. There might not be enough weight to push them in either.

I think you're going to have a hard time pulling good plugs with that particular rig. The gator-rator is designed for ZTR mid-mount mowers and you don't have enough weight there to supply to the tines for good soil penetration. Might work, but will have to aerate only under ideal conditions till you make enough to buy a full size rider. Your real wheels must spin like crazy with the aerating head in the up position.
