42'', would u reccomend the high lifts for the heavy spring growth, so i can discharge the clippings with out leaving brown clumps every where?
    Also, price?

    #95-900 Gator Mulcher...$7.91 ea

I would use a low lift during spring growth, the grass is already standing tall and growing fast. I like high lifts during the summer when the grass is limp. My .02!

so low lifts would work good in spring? how would they work with the plate on? my blades that i have on now are stock and they dont mulch very good, the grass is still in pretty big peices and it usually leaves clumps.

High Lifts when the grass is wet. OEM blades any other time will do fine.

If i were you, i'd trial and error until you find a setup you like.

you may get meg-mos if you'd like too. they are great (i hear).

i dont mow when grass is wet, so i guess i should go with medium lifts, which should be good for blowing heavy grass, and chopping up leafs in the fall? Can i get a price on the mediums for a 42'' Craftsman lawn tractor, with the 5 star hole?
