Can anyone advise what permits are necessary to do lawn service business in Georgia? I'm wondering if there are permit requirements over and above local business licenses such as a permit for fertilizing etc. Thanks!

Tim, Where I live you only need the local business license. Don't give the guys here in Houston County any ideas tho.:p

Don't need one for fertilizer. You do need one for spraying herbicides. Your best bet is to ride up to Cartersville to the old courthouse building and talk to the folks at the county extension office. They are extremely helpful. Cobb office is on Delk/S.Cobb
where you get the driver liscense pitcures. Let me know if I can help in any other way. You can email me at Josh
