Winter is supposed to be here but in the mean time there are still classes com'n up, going on and some already passed.

Please post up any and all classes pertaining to the industry in general here so that everyone can use it.

I think of it as a source to see what is coming up that you may not know about and keep track. Also if it is for a specific area or nation wide you may want to note that.

    Anybody want to bite?

here are the courses i am taking this month at rutgers. took a lighting class last week taught by the owner of cast lighting.

If you are close enough to rutgers (new brunswick NJ) their classes are awsome. Most are taught by industry professionals. you can check out the restof their classes.

The estimating class is taught by Jim Huston.

What will I get from Versa-lok that I won't from Techo? What is it that they are putting on in Roanoke? I didn't know about this one, might make the trip.

Marshall Concrete is hosting what they call a "versa-lok retaining wall installation seminar", and you can also take the test at the end of the day to become ncma certified.

It would be worth the trip if you are planning on becoming certified and you install versa-lok, they should teach a few tricks on installing there material.

    seminar $30.00 per person

    certification $125.00 per person

    free lunch

call samantha @800-366-1734 for more info, but hurry deadline was today.
    also versa-lok.com/NCMA.htm

The techo thing is possibly more about there product than installation.

I see most of the posts are from the East so far. Are there any Midwest(Iowa area) can't miss Conventions or Seminars? Hardscaping or Lighting? I had to miss the Western in Kansas City, scheduling problems.
