Had a good sized pest company that did excellent work in my area. Well they sold the lawn treatment side of the business to scott's for some big $. They decided they they made more money just treating houses for bugs/termites. Most customers loved how the lawns looked when they had them treating the properties. Now a few years later the company is getting back into the fert side again. Well my customer found out about this and dropped scott's to go back to this company. Now if I am not mistaken I bet most of the customers will come back. I think they are pretty smart on this one to sell out and then get the customers back a few years later. What you think about that one?

If there was no legal contract stating that they couldn't compete against the buyer, then yes, they are pretty smart.
