Around here we haven't been getting any rain with temps in the upper 90's. Well the past couple of weeks I've started skipping some yards. The ol fescue is turning brown. I went out today to ride by and look at what was due to see if by chance any needed mowing. I actually started getting leaves up on two accounts. The yard hadn't grown but the yard was covered in leaves. I've seen the leaves fall when it's hot and dry , like they have been around here the past couple of weeks. But but not as many as now. At least the extra for getting up leaves will offset the skipping mowing.

I do the same thing here. If there isnt any need to mow, I'll mulch up the leaves...anything to keep from skipping them.
