This is my first year plowing. How do most of you handle payment from your non-contract customers? Like driveways and small lots..
Do you get your money before you plow, after you plow or do you send them a bill? How do you handle the people that don’t pay up?
I would be tempted to move a 5-foot mound of snow to the bottom of the driveway until they pay up… Probably not legal, Huh?

Believe it or not, for some customers, I like to send them one bill in the spring for the whole account. That way, I get a wheel barrow full of $$ at once that I can do some Capital spending with. To see what me and others here do with the deadbeats, do a search for "Unplow". Remember the bug eyes!
