Do you chase payments? I mean calling your clients or stopping by there house to collect. I have a few that are now out and have sent them "friendly reminders" to pay. I don't really want to be driving around all the time looking for my money.

Also, have any of you tried telling renters to pre-pay for services? I think that will be a new policy.

There was an earlier thread on this topic, with a wide variety of responses. Personally, I'll call if its over a month behind. Depends on the customer too. For example, I had one lady who spent a lot of time overseas, she'd be gone for 3 months sometimes. But I knew she'd pay upon returning, so it was no big deal.

As for renters, its always a good policy to bill them in advance.
