Would some of the verterans around here explain how they got started?

Right now, I've got a 36" toro w/b mower, a regular self propelled 21" mower for tight spots, and an echo blower and trimmer.

I'm looking at my next investment in equpiment being an edger. A number of people said they would love to hire me if I had one.

What else should I be looking at getting in the near future, and in what order of importance?

    Thanks.

i started with a 50" wb, crapsman blower and trimmer. then as i could afford it/and stuff breaking down, i bought commercial gear. Now i've got a Echo PB-750 blower, shindaiwa DH22 hedge clipper and someone gave me a free homelite trimmer (still hasn't died in 3 years). My next purchase will be shindaiwa trimmer. The commercial stuff is expensive, but is well worth it for the reliability and strength over homeowner stuff.

other than that i picked up hand tools, landscaping buckets, wheel barrows, rakes, shovels, etc as i needed them for jobs.
