gfci tripping

    We did a first time installation of outdoor lighting we used a hadco 600w transformer with a light sensor. the system keeps tripping the gfci? Any sugestions we put a sealed bubble cover on the outlet and caulked around it to keep the water out

    We have had this happen in past. It was a bad GFCI out of the box, replaced it and no more trips. Try replacing the GFCI. If its the breaker panel tripping you might have to much load or there is something else on the same circuit.

    We did put a new gfci in, the breaker panel is not tripping and the hadco transformer has two circuit breakers they are not tripping either just the gfi outlet is
