Will the 10hp have enough guts to fill a 7x12 dump trailer or will i need the 16hp? Anythought on either of these two machines? Thanks

whats the difference in price? I don't have either but I would think the 10hp would do the job fine and the 16 would do it faster since it has over 60% more power. I would guess the intake hose of the 16 is larger as well.

I used to have an 11hp Briggs on the back of a 16x8' dump trailer.

It'd fill it up about 3/4 to the front, but I only had 4' high sides as well.

I always thought that if I'd put higher sides, then the leaves could travel farther up the front, with a higher entry point.

Personally, I don't do many clean-ups, hardly none at all anymore, so I didn't put much effort into building a better / higher box.

I'd think your 10hp would work fine on your 12' dump, as long as you've got 6' or higher sides on it.
