I went last year and loved it. This year, I bought plane tickets, pre registered for the show, and pre-paid over $1,800 in hotel reservations at the Seelback Hilton in Downtown Louisville. I was ALL set to go and then my mother came down with the swine flu so I had to cancel the trip to stay here and deal with that. I bring our supervisor with us every year, and we were all disappointed, but you gotta do what you got to do.

Worst part was that I decided to save a couple or few hundred bucks by doing a "pre-pay, non refundable hotel purchase" and I had to eat the $1,800...... Last year I spent around $140 for the hotel for a couple nights but I was in some hell hole of a holiday inn by the airport and they stuck me in a smoking room (worst stay of my life), so I decided this year it was time to go all out with the nicest one available. Maybe I won't pre-purchase next year.....

Been many times, this year seemed to be a little smaller outside than inside.
    Really missed KOHLER brats!
First time ever had to sign wavier to try a mower.
Thought 15.00$ for buffet was pretty high.
    Inside displays were very good.
Talked to several reps that were very knowledgeable about their product.
Sometimes it seems i know more than some of them.
I dont know when the best time of year would work for everybody.
I dont particulary like late OCT.
Inside area was clean and wide aisles not too crowded.
WE stay in New Albany IN. Good hotel ,Quiet too old to party much.
I dont think the recession is over yet .

Should have scalped your hotel room. Bet you could have recouped a couple hundred dollars at least...

    Liked:
Location, just up the road from me.
Wide aisles didn't seem to crowded
I had my name on a cool badge
    All the freebies
    Seeing products up close
The lady at the MOJACK booth
I love it all around, I always look forward to it all year.
Great to network and see industry trends.

    Dislikes:
    Paying to park everyday
Had to be a Planet member to attend some classes
Outdoor area was poorly designed, very muddy, would like to see some of the area on asphalt and then drive equipment to a testing area.
BOP was not there, although I saw a BOP truck with mowers in the back?
    Food Sucked
Would've liked to seen more snow products there.
Didn't really like companies bringing all there employees there just to screw around, I saw one company bring a bus load, thats just overkill.
Wouldve liked to see more apparel companies there, lawngrips, carhartt etc. I would have bought some clothes.

BigDog mowers hired some models as well they ran up to me, hugged me, and then gave me some lame bag to carry around. I liked the attention though.
