Advice on Plugger or other brand aerator. The Plugger 850 is almost $1,500 more than the 800 due to it being hydrostatic.Has anyone tryed the Lawn revitalizer which is less expensive than the Plugger 800 and a split seeder.I have two turfco which I think are well made but being big models are heavy.I am looking to buy a lighter model or maybe a split seeder.

Try the classen ta-26, it's belt driven but we're talking a $20 belt that might break every so many years... Easy to fix is a big concern of mine, the simplest aerators are the belt-chain drives IMO, if comfort is of concern I'd check into a split-drive (sPlit not slit) axle but they're a lot more expensive than the solid axle ones.
