Thanks. Yeah, we're about ready for snow. I'd like a couple more weeks for leaf season, but then bring it on. Hoping for a snowy winter! Good luck to you as well.

We mainly stay on the Illinois side of the QC, at least for weekly maintenance accounts. The ditch witch is a pretty sweet machine.

Finally went through my pictures from this season.

I'll start with the new purchases. Not much this season.

Bought this in the spring, the new toro commercial 30". Very happy with it. It has replaced all of our 21" mowing. So much more efficient! Only drawback is the transmission. Lacks pulling power (have to push up hills), and transmission is unreliable. Replaced once already, and it's going out again.

And the new Toro stand-on aerator. Doesn't have as good of a pattern as our plugr, but does pull a deep plug and is extremely fast. We ended using it on small lawns too, very maneuverable.

Sorry I don't have a good shot of the machine, but here it is working on a large residential.

    Random equipment shots

Tried out some cedar bales this year. I think we'll stick with bulk.

The rest are plant related photos.

We had some work lined up for bedding plants so we decided to try to grow some on our own. We bought plugs and grew these in the basement.

First pic shows the starting size of the plug, the other two had been growing for a little while already.

Here they are shortly after being planted.

And a few more weeks for a solid mass.
