Gmc 1500 Z71

    seeing that i got into a car accedent last week i am looking at new truck now...insurance said they would get back to me this week...i went to a local GMC dealer and they have a 1999 GMC serria z71 off of a trade in for a 2500...it has 59k auto 8' bed...it is very clean and im thinkin about gettin it...i know it will be able to handel my equipt. and a snoway mt26 plow seeing that we have guys who throw westerns on there but im a blizzard snoway guy...but i jsut wanted to know what u guys thought pros and cons what not...thanks a lot

    Honestly I wouldn't get anything less than a 3/4 ton. The 1500 will do it with a smile, after all it is a CHEVY:) . But still if your gonna plow, and it's your only truck, i'd be lookin for a nice 2500. with the 1500 your gonna push it's limit more often, and as the truck nears high mileage the trans is the first thing thats gonna want to take crap, and it's gonna do it when you need the truck most.

    Get a 2500

    I also would look for a 3/4 ton truck, just for the increased durability. Think FORD!!
