Go ahead, be a little cocky

At least that is the route I am going with for this round of doorhangers I am putting out.

Under my business name, there is the line "The best lawncare in Estero"(Estero is the town)

I am just starting out, so I only have a 5x10 with a belt drive proline, and husqvarna tools. So my fleet definitely isn't the flashiest.

But I think that as long as I honestly believe that I am the best, and treat the customers great (to an extent..I'm not in it to lose money), then I don't think this is too cocky of a stance.

I want customers, but I also don't want to look like a jerk.

What's your take on this? If you saw these door hangers would it grind your gears? (imagine you are a local lawn company competing with me)

They are already ordered, so theres no changing them.

The back has a picture of my head, a little about me, 3rd year college student, guinness world record, etc. It's a younger picture from 2010, but its the only one I could find of me smiling haha.

The record now is 116 MPH. You got some work to do:) Its only a lawn mower if the blades turn.

    (a) Any time I see someone claim they are the best without any stats to back up the claim (specific awards for example) I know he's full of crap.

    (b) Anyone calling himself a professional multiple times in an ad that is clearly not designed by a professional makes me wonder...

    (c) As a LCO it wouldn't "grind my gears" seeing you claim to be the best.
I don't worry about what anyone else does, or claims. I don't see anyone as my "competition" - I just do my thing.

    :)

Yeah I know, how am I supposed to compete with honda? haha

I'll beat the record again, but being in school, I am a little cash and time short to be throwing more money at that thing.

I think that you need to be a little more specific like when you said "Blow away any grass clippings". Is that in all the beds, and the yard and driveway? I would say "Blow clippings off walkways and driveway". There could also be some editing done to make it look more professional like not using "wherever else", that does not seem like the most professional wording. Just my .02 cents

Yeah I don't have any awards, but that's where honestly believing I am the best comes into play. The mindset will make me the best in due time.

And I only called myself a professional once ;)
    Thanks for the feedback

If your the best, you can tell me if I should use "demon", "suspend" or "talstar" for brown recluse spiders around a house

The best fungicide to treat pythium blight is?? And what causes it.

Best way to get bermuda out of Fescue? How about getting it out of St. Augustine?

There's details, like if its over watered, under watered or maybe its calcium deficient.

What tempeture does it need to be under when you apply PreM for CG? When to apply it for Poa?

How much sun does a Majesty palm need? When do I fert it and what do I uses?

Is it Loriope or society garlic that spreads?

Is there a selective to get maples out of bermuda?

When and how do I cut back Hydrangia's?

There's more to being the best than lining your mower wheels up with the last pass and making sure you blew all the clippings off of the drive way. Confidence is a good thing. I'm pretty confident, but the best, I'm no where near the best.
