Hi, I'm just bouncing around some numbers for next season and I think I may be a tad low. What is everyone getting per cubic yard of dyed black mulch delivered and spread? I know this is a loaded question with lots of variables but assume the beds are clean, reasonable truck access, and maybe the longest wheelbarrow run is 100' from the truck.

    $120 per yard works well

Usually I'm around 70-120 depending on the terrain and amount of weeding.

I usually charge about $50 a yard to spread mulch. That doesn't include any weeding or edging. My runs are usually much longer than 100' so if it is that close to the truck I might charge a bit less. On a job over 15 yards or so I will usually do it for about 40-45 per yard depending on where the mulch has to go.

I pay about $16 a yard for colored mulch and resell it for $25. So I would charge $75 per yard for mulch and installation.

Thanks for the response, I pay $17 a yard for black and depending on the job I was anywhere between $60-75. I figured I had to be low because it seams no matter what I bid lately they jump on it. I've already got over 300 yards sold for next season. Guess I'm not as low as I thought.
