going rates for detach & seeding

    Just curious to see what you guys are charging for dethatching and seeding with a lawn revitilzer.* Thanks

    Around here I get $40.00 per 1000sqf for overseeding which includes starter fertilizer, lime and seed. Thatching can be a real pain, does the yard really need to be thatched? Most don't. Instead I would core aerate then overseed especially if your doing a lawn renovation.

    $125.00 per 1000sqft for sliceseeding only.

    Man your way to high on price for around here and probably most places but it you can get it good luck to you.

    $125/1000 for powerseeding only
    $175/1000 for renovation (2 apps round up and reseeding)

    40.00 is way too cheap. You have to think you only have 3 months a year to put seed in the ground so you need to be at least making a $100/ hr

    A good way to justify the cost is to compare it to laying down sod.
