This mower was not used commercial, only has 71 hours.

Is this a good mower, and is price fair, starting back business this year.

    2006 John Deere 757 $6500

    Thanks for any input.

Even though that is low hours that price is still steep. You can get a new (several models) in the 7grand range with a warranty. I bought a brand new 737 for 6500 in 06, hated that machine, nothing but problems with it. A lot of folks have good luck with them and some (me) did not.

Brand new they could be had for 8000-8400 so 4 yrs old thats a bit high but I had a 2003 or 2004 757 with 1000 hrs that I bought for 3k and put about 500 into new wheels and belts and a whole tune up I got 5k for it They are gold in certain areas. My neighbor has an 05 with about 150 hours I would give him 6k all day. It is one of the best mowers that was ever built as far as cut the 7 iron cant be beat and JD parts are expensive but fast delivery is normal. I would go 5500 or so I think 6500 is a bit much
