Try the 15-3-7 bridged product, it is low enough in N to spread in the spring and summer at 3.5 lbs per k and then you can double you rate for fall apps.

Cemars, are you talking 3.5lb of the product per 1000 or 3.5lbs N per1000. In spring and summer. If its 3.5lbs N he better have the fungicides handy for his cool season grasses.

I'm talking about product of course, the reason I mentioned this product is I have found when spreading total material under 3lbs per K is difficult for most to do. If you want just one product to use all year it has to be low in N and have a decent amount of but not too much slow release. Another option would be 24-5-11 50% slow w/ 2%Fe 1%Mg, but to get a half pound of N you would need to apply 2.08 lbs of product per K.

    Heres one of my favorites
25-6-8 50% slow release from bio solids, UFLEXX and PCSCU
    25 % natural base, 2% Fe
Adjust your N ratio as needed

    24-5-11 50% slow release, 5% iron
or 18-1-8 Sustane w/nutraline if you want an "organic"
