So that guy wants $6000 for a 10 year old mower? It does have a lot of new parts on it but it still has a lot of old parts on it too. I'd pass.

i didnt know there was a bluebook on mowers?

even if there is, if you pay 6k for it and decide to sell, the person looking at the bluebook will see a 4k mower. i'm with richard. pass on this one.

What the problem is that be it a car or a mower it really doesn't matter,
that is, how much money is thrown at an older, used machine.

It's worth what it is worth, if the mower is worth 4 thousand then that's what it should be selling for,
throwing two thousand dollars at it doesn't make it worth two thousand more, doing this is not a recoverable investment.

Don't forget this thing has 2,200 hours on it, that is just way high, for all we know the engine is about to go.

And that's the whole reason it hasn't sold, the blue book on an 8.5k 10-year old machine in really good shape
is maybe 4000 and that's with low hours (like under 500), the guy wants 6g for this hence nobody wants it.

I don't trust this listing. He states that he made $8000 in one month from 20 properties. That’s $400 each from mowing grass. He says he went from 30 minutes down to 11 minutes with this mower. I don't think so!
