I just finished another leaf job, it took 3.5 hours and I made $300. I remember when it took a 40 hour week to make that after taxes, working for someone else. When I feel burnt out and think that I need a break, I remember those (not so) good old days of working for someone else. Running my own business makes me thankfull every day, even when it is a headache. Good luck, to all in 2004.

    Thanks for that AMAC.

As a minor (15), I am still mostly at the mercy of another boss. I too am looking ahead to the days when I will hopefully be able to run my own biz and be out of the burden of going paycheck to paycheck.

It is nice to have a sense of the more work you do the more you have earned at the end of the day. Compared to your employee status-at the end of the 10hr day@11.50/hr...wether you have cut 10 props or 28 props...youve still got $115.00
