Is $7,000 a good price on a super z 27hp kohler 60" demo unit with 50 hrs. on it?
That sounds like a good deal to me. Around here a new one costs about $7800. I assume the demo still has warranty on it.
yes it still has the warranty. Does anyone know what exectly this covers?
The Hustler warranty covers:
Lifetime warranty on leading(front) edge of mower deck
Lifetime warranty on the frame
Hydrualic hoses and fittings are guarenteed for a lifetime to never leak
Three year limited warranty on deck spindles
Three year limited warranty on front-caster fork bearings
Two year limited warranty parts and labor covering entire machine
Two year engine warranty
The Hustlers have about the best warranty in the industry.
So does the warrenty cover parts that just break within the first 2 years? Say a bearing goes somewhere, will they cover it? What won't they cover.
If something breaks on the machine the two year warrnaty will cover the part and the labor required to repair the machine at the dealer. It wont cost you a cent.
does this even include belts?
I was told, once a part has been replaced under warranty, then that part is only covered by the manufactor warranty, which most are only 30-90 days. I have paid for a lot of parts in the last 1.5 years and my Hustler warranty is up Nov.1st.....
The warranty does cover the belts.
Not bad at all if it hasn't been beat and banged around for 50 hours.
That exact unit is $8,095 brand new here. I just looked a one the other week.
