    Gibs,

Seems terribly high, even for a diesel.

My 2003 60" Lazer 28HP EFI gas unit was 10,500 plus tax - brand new in 2003. I recently picked up a used 2001 60" Lazer 26 HP EFI for $5000 plus tax.

Since I bought the Lazer in 2003, the Canadian dollar has done much better, and thus the cost of the units to the dealers has gone down, offsetting the increases from the manufacturer each year.

Those prices do not seem at all in line for 2 and 3 model year old machines, but then again I am not familiar with the pricing of the diesels.

Why are you looking at diesel? The fuel injected gas models are very smooth responsive engines, and they sip fuel! There is no lack of power, and I mulch all the time.

    deej

Yea it's high for an 04', I wouldn't pay more than $10,000. Honestly though I if I was spending that kind of money I would get a brand new one.
