good wildflower mix??

    THis is for my property...few hundred sq feet that I want to throw in wildflower seeds....any of you bought something im the last couple years that you liked? The stuff I got at Lowes a couple of years ago was not so hot...thanks

    Hey, thanks go to you. You just saved several of us from making that same mistake. I have had customers that hand me this seeded roll of blue stuff they bought through the mail and put it out for them and the results are not good, either.

    I bought 1lb last year for an area at my house and was pleased with the results. They said I would have no flowers the first year, but I did. Should reseed itself yearly. I think I got a mix with 17 varieties??Ithink.

    I have used Wildflower Mix from Wal-Mart and I was not happy with flowers. All came out like weeds.The customer ask if we were pulling weeds from there beds , so never used them again. Like package seed from a grower up north and bubs. We have a better change of getting a FLOWER then WEEDS.
